Chilean framed height

Great photographs of landscapes give clues how we create satisfying landscapes. Here in Chile the vineyards are marked by strong diagonal paths introducing shape, energy and direction on the main horizontal plain.

Seasonal planting of grasses and thistle heads in the foreground provides intimacy and colour, the trees to the sides provide a sense of protection and generally frame the view from the property.

Height changes across to a distant view of the Andes are further essential ingredients that make this an incredibly satisfying landscape as the morning mist rises in the valley.
